Vintage 1949 Ekco Wooden Radio, Made in England, Display Piece

Beautiful vintage Ekco A104 radio, made in England by E.K. Cole Ltd. around 1949. Curved walnut veneer case with inlaid stripes, brass knobs, and a chrome-framed glass dial printed with long, medium and short wave stations like BBC Light, Hilversum, Prague and Moscow. Sold for display only. It's a UK-voltage model and has not been tested, so please don't plug it in. Makes a wonderful statement piece on a shelf, sideboard or mantel. Case shows its age, with chipping along the edges and bottom. Some chips have been touched up with wood stain so they blend in. Wear on the cream trim around the grille.
