Vintage Postmodern desk or bankers lamp in the style of Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs from the 1980s. Matted black lizard skin paint finish, brass columns and chrome accents on a matte metal like black base. It has a very thick oblong thick glass that gives a fantastic lighting effect thanks to the halogen light source that is hidden by black metal mesh and a matte black casing. This GORGEOUS vintage halogen table lamp in the style of Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs! It is composed of a brass plated double shaft and chrome plated capitals or collars under a black painted metal perforation surrounding the center of a racetrack shaped glass top. Under base UL (Underwriter laboratories) Portable Lamp-affixed to bottom. Also made in China Sticker and the SKU identification number of: P7042HK. The lamp is a vintage, postmodern piece from the 1980s. Design & Style: The lamp is known for its postmodern, Memphis-style design, sometimes referred to as "UFO" style due to its shape.
