2015 Yamaha Super Ténéré 1200 – One Owner – Fully Equipped Rig

I bought this bike brand new when I was 70, and now at 80, I have just completed a wonderful road trip to Vancouver Island. It has been an absolute joy to ride these 161,000 km. It has never once let me down, and it is still running as beautifully as ever. This bike has spent its entire life on the pavement—it has never been off-road and has likely seen less than a couple hundred miles total on gravel surfaces. If you’re reading this, you likely know the proven durability of Yamaha’s 1,199 cc engine. The bike also features dependable shaft drive and factory cruise control. Condition & Recent Maintenance: • Cosmetics: The bike has a few normal scuffs and scratches from years of touring, but overall it is in good, clean shape. • Brakes: Brand new brake pads front and back (replaced just 2,500 km ago). • Rear Tire: Excellent condition, roughly 75% tread remaining. • Front Tire: Will need replacement soon (factored into the price). • Valve Clearance: Last checked at 90,000 km (all were well within spec and required no adjustment). It is due for its next check.
