Antique Wm. L. Gilbert Mantel Clock - Project Piece

Beautiful, authentic early 20th-century American "Black Mantel" style shelf clock made by the William L. Gilbert Clock Co. of Winsted, Connecticut. Features ornate gold-finished lion head side ring handles and faux-marble pillar columns. The clock face shows the official Gilbert "G in a diamond" trademark logo. Includes the original brass winding key (stamped size 9) and features its internal dual-chime movement and rear mechanical hatch. Condition Details: Mechanical: The clock currently ticks for a few moments but does not continue running. It will need a cleaning, oiling, or a simple adjustment to get fully operational again. Cosmetic: Great structural shape with beautiful patina. Normal surface wear consistent with a 100+ year old antique.
