We purchased this trailer new in Summer 2018, it is a great unit. The trailer has been babied and never bush camped. We just had our second daughter a couple months before buying so we stayed at campgrounds the first two years and then picked up a seasonal site in central AB where it was parked for two years until sept 2022 when we bought an older fifth wheel after we had a third child. I held this trailer last summer as some family was expected to buy it but they are no longer interested in camping, so it’s just been parked in a secure area since. This trailer has like 15 trips to central alberta and canmore area campgrounds and has sat parked for the rest of its life. Very little actual travel time wear. I have had issues with older trailers in the past on my first 2002 trailer, so I am pretty meticulous with preventative maintenance now. It’s always been properly maintained, winterized an upkept. Roof and sidewall sealants redone every two years with spot checks in between if anything was starting to age early. Major reason I bought this unit was its 2” walls instead of typical 1.5” with insulated under belly. We’ve stayed in it mid April thru end of October comfortably on heat. It is very lightweight for a 24ft with slide at 5350 lb dry. Tows loaded with a 5.3L Chev 1500 half ton no issue. Rear bunks are both double sized and very comfortable. Room enough for a parent to lay in there with a young kid at bedtime. Roof is concave which really makes it feel bigger. Master bed is a queen size and there are sliding wood doors that latch, not those crappy blinds for privacy. Power awning with RGB LED lighting, LED lights throughout. Interior and exterior two zone audio system, connects with Bluetooth. This trailer is prewired for solar and backup camera if you so wish. The steps are not hanging from frame, they lift up and snap into door frame for transport and they fold out with extendable legs so you can secure to ground at any height or terrain, super secure and good for kids/senior parents getting in and out. Has outdoor kitchen with sink and dual burner. Some other trailers have the sink go to a tub that you have to pull out and dump, this unit is plumbed back to grey tank. Sink instead has pull down faucet and cutting boards (unused) that snap into place to cover sink. Oversized refrigerator vs traditional sizes. Digital thermostat for AC/heat/fan control. Benefit of the 24BHS is the oversized U shape dinette, when you drop it into a bed it’s a lot longer than traditional size RV couches and tables, sleeps 2 adults comfortably. Includes two 20lb propane tanks with a hard plastic shell upgrade that allows top valve access while protecting tanks. Also including hard shell and lid battery cases. I’ve purchased a brand new 12V deep cycle to go with it. I also have two 6V deep cycle batteries that I’d be willing to send with it. Has power tongue jack. I also will include a heavy duty key-locked hitch ball lock and locking pin set. Also including some extras like a screen door repair kit, extra RV sewer fittings, heavy duty 30amp shore power supply cord and stabilizing/levelling blocks. Includes heavy duty high end rhino sewer hose upgraded. Has breakaway emergency brakes as well. Brakes work very well.
