thyme

This somewhat succulent plant has medicinal benefits. I grew up calling it french thyme but it goes by several names: broad leaf thyme, Mexican Mint, Cuban oregano, Indian borage, country borage, Indian mint, Spanish thyme etc.. It's very good to have if you have a little cough. Cut a few leaves and make a tea, and it helps with respiratory conditions. It is aromatic and gives an oregano like /fragrance. $10 in nursery container $15 in white planter
