Edwardian 14K Gold Frank Krementz & Co Stick Pin

Dates to the Edwardian era, circa 1910. Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold. Uniquely marked with Frank Krementz & Company’s hallmark, which is the backwards letter F extending from the K. Frank Krementz was the brother of George Krementz of Krementz & Company of Newark, NJ, and formed a competing company to George’s company at the turn of the last century. Shield motif design, beautifully rendered, and featuring a light purple genuine cabochon. The stone measures approx 8 mm by 4.25 mm, and is bezel-set into a closed-back mount. The stickpin measures 2.33” from end to end, with a top portion measuring 0.64” by 0.54”. This piece weighs 1.54 grams. Condition is very good, minor bend to pin stem. *smoke free home
