Modern Lavender Quilted Weighted Blanket

This piece is a contemporary quilted weighted blanket featuring a reversible construction with smooth microfiber on one side and embossed dot minky fleece on the other. Weighted blankets rose dramatically in popularity during the late 2010s as therapeutic lifestyle and sensory wellness items. They are constructed with compartmentalized square pockets filled with non-toxic micro-glass beads or poly pellets to evenly distribute pressure. Due to mass production by various home goods brands in recent years, these items are common on the secondhand home textile market.
