Vintage Birks Sterling Silver Weighted Candlestick Holder

A beautiful vintage sterling silver candlestick by Birks, one of Canada's best-known luxury jewellers and silversmiths. The piece has a classic low baluster form with a flared candle cup and broad circular base, making it an elegant decorative piece for a dining table, mantel, collection or traditional interior. The lower rim is clearly stamped: BIRKS STERLING The underside is also stamped: 95/26 This is a weighted sterling silver candlestick, meaning the visible sterling silver exterior is constructed around a weighted/reinforced interior or base for stability.
