Vintage 1978 Signed Watercolour — Moody Street Scene
$145
Signed vintage watercolour dated 1978, with the loose, expressive character that makes older original-looking artwork so appealing.
A quiet residential street scene with a dramatic bare-branched tree, colourful row houses, pedestrians and a small yellow fire hydrant. The palette is beautifully muted, with soft washes of brown, grey, green and red.
Either Barbados or Trinidad.
Signed “Timothy ’78” at the lower right.
Presented under glass with neutral matting in a slim gold-tone frame. A great piece for a collected gallery wall, entryway or layered into a mid-century or 1970s interior.
Dimensions: 19.5” W × 23” H
Condition: Good vintage condition overall with light age-related wear to the frame and presentation. Please see photos.
The vintage wood chair shown in the photos is also available separately.
