Vintage 1940s Delta 6" Cast Iron Jointer - Working
$200
Selling a classic, heavy-duty Delta Manufacturing Co. 6-inch cast iron jointer. This is a solid, "Milwaukee, Wisconsin" era machine built back when tools were made to last a lifetime out of pure American cast iron.
Tested and working perfectly! The motor runs incredibly smoothly and plugs right into a standard household 110V outlet. This is a fantastic, rigid upgrade for a hobbyist woodworker tired of flimsy benchtop models, or a great weekend cleanup project for a tool enthusiast.
Features & Details:
Power: Runs smoothly on standard 110V power (regular household plug).
Capacity: 6-inch cutting width.
Construction: Solid cast iron tables and fence. Extremely rigid and heavy.
Safety Guard: Original spring-loaded pork-chop guard is present and intact.
Stand: Mounted on a functional, sturdy shop-made wooden enclosed stand.
Condition: The mechanical and electrical components are good to go. The cast iron tables and fence have typical surface rust/oxidation from storage, but no deep pitting or cracks. It just needs a quick scrub with some steel wool and paste wax, and a fresh edge on the blades to be an absolute workhorse.
Please note this thing is heavy! I can help you load it, but make sure you have help unloading it!
Price: $200 obo
Location: Richmond area. Pickup only.
