Self-Watering Seed Starter Cup/Pot, plant propagation with Dome
$10
This self-watering propagation cup is perfect for growing Alocasia corms, seedlings, and young plants. It makes propagation easy and beginner-friendly, reducing the risk of overwatering, drying out, or rot.
Features:
Self-Watering Design: The 1.5 oz inner cup sits in a 3 oz water reservoir. A wick pulls moisture up to the substrate, keeping it evenly moist.
Humidity Dome: The clear snap-on dome helps maintain stable humidity for faster sprouting and healthy roots.
Drainage & Airflow: The inner cup has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging while allowing airflow to the roots.
Compact & Purpose-Built: Sized perfectly for Alocasia corms and small seedlings.
How to Use:
1. Fill the outer reservoir with water.
2. Add your preferred substrate to the inner cup.
3. Place the corm or seed.
4. Insert the inner cup so the wick sits in water.
5. Snap on the dome.
Remove the dome occasionally as the corm establishes for better airflow.
This is the same setup I use daily for propagating rare Alocasias. It eliminates common issues like drying out, overwatering, and unstable humidity.
