It's an AFM/DFM Disabler for vehicle engine management. It comes in a sealed plastic package. AFM/DFM disabler is a plug-and-play OBD-II module that prevents GM’s Active Fuel Management (AFM) or Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) systems from deactivating cylinders, keeping V6 and V8 engines in full-cylinder mode at all times. These devices send a continuous signal to the ECU to block cylinder switching, which helps eliminate shuddering, rough idle, and hesitation while potentially reducing the risk of lifter failure and excessive oil consumption associated with constant cylinder cycling.
