Vintage Hollywood Regency style smoking set, which includes a pedestal table lighter and a coordinating square crystal ashtray/trinket dish. Item Breakdown • Pedestal Crystal Ashtray / Dish This piece features a thick, diamond-cut crystal square bowl sitting atop an ornate casting metal pedestal base. It is decorated with cascading, faceted teardrop crystal prisms hanging from the under-rim. While originally designed as an upscale vanity or coffee table ashtray, sets like this are frequently repurposed today as decorative jewelry catchalls or candy dishes. • Pedestal Table Lighter The coordinating table top lighter uses an identical ornate pedestal foot and hanging crystal prism configuration. A vintage mechanism (typically butane or flint/wick, often manufactured by specialty companies in Japan during the mid-20th century) is mounted directly into the crystal and metal collar.
