Extech 461825 Combination Optical Tachometer/Stroboscope

This is a current product. It was last used and customized by Alberta Health Services. The customization added easily adjusted strobe intensity controls to the sides of the meter. The factory adjustments are in the middle of the front panel and are not as quickly adjusted as the added controls are. A manual is available in PDF format on line at no charge. Replacement cost of this meter in Canada is over $500. According to the manufacturer: This meter is both a tachometer and a stroboscope. Use to measure rpm and speed, or motion analysis. Stroboscope mode features three selectable modes. Display flips with the meter for easy viewing. Meter automatically stores last reading, minimum and maximum in memory.
