Quasar 46” LED TV LE46D5QFM — Backlight Issue

Quasar LE46D5QFM, 46” LED TV (basic, non-smart), circa 2013. Same backlight symptom as above: brief flash on startup, image visible with flashlight when in a dark room. Panel and board confirmed functional. Good for backlight repair or parts. Pickup only. Problem: Backlight failure — panel and board good, image visible with flashlight, brief flash on power-up.
