Gorgeous Fairy Tale Decorative Plate. Numbered

Not for food use. a collector's plate titled "The Princess and the Seven Bogatyrs," part of the Russian Legends series by Tianex and distributed by the Bradford Exchange in 1988. It is the second in a series of 12 plates. The plate is made of hard-fired porcelain and decorated with 18-karat gold and ceramic pigments. It depicts a scene from a Russian fairytale. The plate's diameter is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm). The firing period for the plate was limited to 195 days at the Vinogradoff Porcelain factory. Each plate in the series has an individual Bradex number. The reverse side of the plate includes a description of the title, story, and serial number in Russian.
