Vintage Luxo Desk Lamp

Midcentury vintage "Luxo Color Correct" task/desk lamp with adjustable spring-loaded swing arm and pivoting head. These are fantastic industrial lamps made with both incandescent and fluorescent lighting options, often used in workstations by architects. Made of steel and aluminum, it has a very heavyweight base and the tension spring design ensures that when positioned there is no droop or drift. Operated by three push switches, red (incandescent), white (fluorescent), black (off). Good vintage condition with minimal wear, original cord is frayed at plug - but is functional (currently wrapped with electrical tape). Incandescent bulb (middle) works and takes standard e-26 bulbs. Fuorescent bulb (ring) did work at one time but now needs repair, mostly decorative though at this point since the original function of providing both warm and cool lighting is now unnecessary with modern bulbs that can offer both.
