Mirage MS-12 Subwoofer 12inch/400w Peak Power

This Mirage MS-12 Subwoofer is in excellent condition, speaker is tight, it was never driven super hard for long periods. And, it's made in Canada! It can be used as is, but it does have an electrical hum when turned on. When in use you can't hear the hum even during low volumes, but you need to unplug it while not in use or the humming will be audible in a quiet room. I used a power bar to turn it off as it doesn't have a power switch due to its auto power on feature when it receives an audio signal. It can be fixed by replacing the power capacitors. Instructions to do so, including a parts list, are readily available on the internet for this exact model of subwoofer. It would require about $20 in parts to fix it, plus the knowledge and tools to do so. Even as is this speaker is incredible sounding with both punchy upper level bass and low rumbling lower bass. You can find user reviews all over the internet to find out more. Cosmetically the speaker is in great shape. There are a few minor scratches here and there and a small rub on the back where it was hitting a baseboard (I've put some stain on it to fix it up). I have the original users manual to go along with it.
