1920s Krug Bros. Federal Revival China Cabinet & Buffet

Location: Mission, BC Beautiful, solid walnut Federal Revival style matching dining set manufactured by the renowned Krug Bros. Co. Limited (Chesley, Ontario) between 1926 and 1931. This set carries wonderful local history, having been purchased brand new by my grandparents at the iconic David Spencer department store on East Hastings in Vancouver. Both pieces feature classic Federal Revival details, including elegant woodwork, original hardware, and a "broken arch" pediment on the china cabinet. They are in very good vintage condition and have been well-loved in a single family for a century. Note on Condition: The set is in very good condition. There is an area on the back edge of the buffet where the finish has thinned due to age/water, but the wood itself is healthy and the spot is easily hidden or touched up.
