Canadian Indigenous artist Thomas B. Maracle’s “Circle of Friends” vintage stone sculpture. Signed/marked by the artist to the underside. Thomas B. Maracle is a world renowned sculptor who was born in Belleville, Ontario in 1949. Maracle is a Native North American Mohawk and of the Six Nations residing in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. A stunningly beautiful depiction of a circle of friends. As with all of Maracle’s art the attention to design and detail is above reproach. Good condition. No chips or cracks. Any wear commensurates with the age. Very heavy. Approximately 4” deep, 8 3/4” in diameter across the bottom and 5.5” tall.
