Selling for $470 The Titleist AP2 irons are built to provide skilled golfers a multi-material iron that blends forged feel and performance with modern features to improve launch conditions. The body of the AP2 irons is forged from 1025 carbon steel for a softer feel. A tungsten nickelbox is laser welded to that body in order to move the center of gravity lower to increase initial launch and keep spin rates within the optimal range. An aluminum cavity plate and elastomer insert stabilize the face to reduce flex at impact to give you more solid contact and reduced vibration. These irons have a more traditional shape with less offset than the AP1's that will give you the confidence at address to make shots on the golf course.
