Vintage 1971 Avalon Hill Luftwaffe WWII Board Game

Vintage 1971 Avalon Hill “Luftwaffe: The Game of Aerial Combat Over Germany 1943–45” military strategy board game. Classic Avalon Hill bookshelf-style wargame recreating the WWII strategic air campaign over Germany, with players commanding either the American air forces or the German Luftwaffe. This example appears to be complete and retains many unpunched playing counters, including the German aircraft counter sheet shown in the photos. Includes the game board, aircraft counters, charts/tables, die, paperwork and other components shown. Features numerous WWII aircraft including the B-17 Flying Fortress, P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, Focke-Wulf Fw 190 and others. Original box is dated Copyright 1971 – The Avalon Hill Game Company, Baltimore, Maryland – Printed in U.S.A. Good vintage used condition overall. The box has visible age-related shelf wear, creasing and marks, while the interior components appear well preserved for their age. Many counters remain attached/unpunched. I have not individually inventoried every counter, so it is being described as appearing complete rather than guaranteed 100% complete.
