Vintage Mid Century Herta Gertz Pottery Bowl

Gorgeous west coast mid century rectangular bowl, made by Herta and Walter Gertz, who operated B.C. Ceramics in Vancouver's Yaletown district from 1955-1967. They were German immigrants, who settled in Vancouver in the early 1950's, after running a ceramics factory in Germany. They produced all kids of beautiful art pottery, with a wide range of colours, designs, glazes, and sizes. This particular bowl has a wonderfully unique mosaic pattern, which was different from many of their other creations. It's in perfect condition. No chips, cracks, or damage of any kind. It's marked on the bottom (please see pics), and is pattern #7072. Because of it's condition and rare pattern, this bowl is a collector's dream.
