Noritake China Tea Cup (6) and Saucer (6) Set

This is a 6-person demitasse (espresso/small tea) cup and saucer set made by Noritake China. The backstamp featuring the "M" inside a laurel wreath (for Morimura Bros., Noritake's founding family) alongside "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" dates this set specifically between 1945 and 1952, during the post-WWII Allied occupation. The pieces feature a light cream band, delicate floral gilding, and gold-trimmed rims and handles.​ "Occupied Japan" Backstamp: The historical mark adds a modest premium for vintage Japanese porcelain.
