George Nelson Watermelon Desk Clock – Vitra (2004, discontinued)

For sale is an authentic George Nelson “Watermelon” Desk Clock, produced by the Vitra Design Museum in 2004 as part of their official re-edition series. ➡️ Purchased new around 2006 (I am the original owner). ➡️ Produced in 2004. ➡️ This model has since been discontinued ➡️ Excellent condition, carefully kept in a smoke-free home. ➡️ Fully functional quartz movement (1 x AA battery) ➡️ Dimensions: approx. 8” W × 4.25” D × 4.75” H. The Watermelon is one of the more unusual Nelson desk clocks, originally conceived in the late 1940s–1950s, and re-issued in limited numbers by Vitra. It’s a collectible piece of mid-century modern design that rarely comes up for sale, especially in this condition and with original box.
