This specific instrument was played and destroyed during their legendary live cover of Nirvana's "School."Provenance & Unique Details:Direct Family Origin: Sourced straight from the personal archive of TDG lead guitarist Barry Stock via his nephew and right-hand man at MEAN, Matt Stock. Matt is no stranger to the massive impact these guys have had over the years—from backstage to in studios, rehearsals, pickups and drop-offs before and after tours, hanging with the crew, family, friends, and fans, always proud and wowed by the MACHINE that is 3DG.Inscribed by Barry Stock: Features the authentic, handwritten "Hurt Me" text on the top of the neck and "Victim 13" on the pickguard, written in Sharpie by Barry himself to document the night the broken base swung back like a pendulum from strings and split his head open on stage.Customized by Matt Stock: Features a hand-drawn old-school 3DG logo, a handwritten "skool" inscription, and an original MEAN brand "Barry Face" sticker personally designed and added by Matt.Preserved State: Personally secured with duct tape, with the strings carefully wrapped down the neck and tucked into the body to preserve the raw stage damage for wall display.This is a museum-grade piece of alternative rock history that has never been available to the public.
