Vintage Enamel Rooster Brooch, Gold Tone Barnyard Chicken Pin

Vintage gold tone rooster brooch with colorful hand-applied enamel in red, green, and white. This design matches a piece once sold by the Winterthur Museum gift shop. According to the original museum card, rooster motifs have been used in ornamental designs for generations, inspiring a rich variety of antique forms at Winterthur. The original pin was 18k gold-plated and hand-enameled, sold as a catalogue exclusive. My brooch is unmarked and does not come with the original box or card — it was already without them when I acquired it. The enamel colors remain bright, and the cheerful barnyard rooster design makes it a lovely gift for animal lovers or a charming accessory for country-inspired outfits.
