Art-Original Art- George Alig (1933-2024) Watercolour painting

This is a lovely piece (9x12) by the very talented late George Alig. It is a typical piece, likely done “en plein aire”. Right until his passing, George was a life member of the Calgary Sketch Club ( now the Calgary Sketch and Painting Club, formed in 1909). He joined in 1957! The club honoured George a few years ago by creating an award, The George Alig Participation Award”, for an outstanding member each year at the Awards Banquet. I purchased the piece unframed, and am selling it that way, but do have a rustic looking frame it can fit in which is optional for the buyer. It needs a mat. Glendale SW area
