Bakelite coral Trinket Jar

Click on photograph to enlarge view. This is likely a Moroccan jewelry box or lidded jar, handcrafted from bakelite and brass. This unique coral trinket jar features intricate metal detailing and a domed lid, perfect for storing small treasures. As you can see from the photos, it is a used item, with a crack on one side of the jar.
