Vintage MCM Scandinavian Art Glass Dish

Vintage MCM Iittala Riite art glass dish by Timo Sarpenava. It features a textured base with clear thick rim. Very substantial and well made piece. It measures 1.5” in height and 6” in diameter. Some minor surface scuffs consistent with age, but otherwise great condition. Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006) was an influential Finnish designer, sculptor, and educator best known in the art world for innovative work in glass, merging beauty and function.
