Vintage Vilas Solid Maple Nightstand / Side Chest

This is a beautiful, heavy-duty nightstand from the iconic Canadian maker, Vilas. Unlike modern furniture, this is crafted from solid rock maple, no particle board or flimsy veneers here. Features Classic Design: Traditional paneled drawer fronts with original brass-tone hardware. Storage: Two deep, smooth-sliding drawers with dovetail joinery. Quality: "By Vilas" brand stamp is visible inside the drawers.Condition Note: The top surface has some light surface scratches from normal use (see photos), but because it is solid wood, it can easily be sanded and refinished to look brand new. Perfect for a bedroom, or as a sturdy side table in a living room. This piece is built to last another 50 years! DM for pick up location. Due to it's weight I cannot walk around with it.
