Vintage hand-carved wooden Rasta head, a one-of-a-kind piece of Caribbean / Jamaican folk art. Carved in relief to hang on a wall, with two keyhole hanging slots on the reverse. The face is carved in natural wood tone with deep, expressive detail — strong brow, carved eyes, broad nose and a stylized mustache and beard. The dreadlocks and beard are finished in black, framing the face, and the carved "tam" crown on top is hand-painted in the classic Rastafari colours of red, gold and green. Hand carved from solid tropical hardwood (cedar/mahogany type). Hand-painted rasta tam in red/gold/green. Wall-mounted relief carving — flat back with two hanging slots.
