Option-O Lagom P64 w/ SSP MP Burrs + Wood Cap

    Home & Garden ·

    $2,400

Selling my favorite grinder :O The Original End Game flat burr low retention variable RPM single dose high end espresso grinder! The Option-O Lagom P64! Brushless DC Motor is super quiet and powerful. Currently sold out, Sells for $2495 + tax (over $2800) new with the SSP Burrs ($250+ value) and without the nice custom wood cap ($80+ value). This is the older version which has tool-less access to the burrs. The minimum RPM range I believe is lower on this one, 200RPM at the lowest setting instead of 300rpm on the newer ones, max RPM remains the same at 1400RPM. With the newer version I'm not sure the build quality is as great on it, or at least they had some issues with the declumper coming loose and falling out on the newer model, haven't had any issues with mine. SSP MP Burrs are seasoned and in great shape. Great for pourover or espresso, optimal for high quality light roast coffees. I found RPM does make a difference with these burrs, some burrs it seems to make less of an impact. Higher RPM = Less flavour clarity, lower acidity, more sweetness and possibly more linger and body. Lower RPM = higher acidity (brighter), and more flavour clarity. Sharper notes. I've had the Zerno Z1 with the same SSP MP Burrs except blind. People were hyping it up saying the Auger / Prebreaker and blind burrs make such a dramatic difference and I was disappointed that it did not. So I think a lot of these new features are over-hyped. It makes sense technically but not something you 'need' to have. For me and my coffee friends, we couldn't really tell the difference, and whichever grinder was basically dialed in better made the better coffee. The Zerno was great too, but the P64 I felt was nicer due to the silent motor and versatility of adjustable RPM and having a portafilter fork. Should be cheaper than ordering a Zerno Z1 too after import Fee's. Includes original box and WDT tool (not the best) I can include an alternative one if you need! The Original Dosing cup (which I think might be better than their new one). And Original magnetic portafilter funnel which is great. Pictures are random older ones but I keep my gear in good shape, there's no scratches or issues. I keep silicone sleeves on the portafilter forks which give it a little more grip and padding / protection from scratches. Checkout my other listings for more coffee gear and accessories. If you're new to coffee, I could give you some tips as well, I do coffee consultations. Thanks for viewing.
