Listing is for this pair of vintage cookbooks by James Beard, the highly influential cookery teacher and is often referred to as the "Dean of American Gastronomy". Both filled with charming illustrations throughout. - Beard on Bread contains 100 recipes and variations for making delicious, fresh bread at home. Known as the definitive book on bread baking. Printed in 1974, has some damage on the cover, but inside of the book is good condition. - Beard on Pasta features 100 of Beard's favorite international recipes and in-depth information on pasta's origins.
