100T Zimbabwe Bank Note
$450
The image shows a 100 trillion dollar note from Zimbabwe. This banknote was issued in 2009 during a period of hyperinflation in the country.
The note is one of the largest denominations of currency ever printed.
Due to hyperinflation, the value of the Zimbabwean dollar plummeted, and at the time it was issued, the 100 trillion dollar note could not even buy a loaf of bread.
The use of the Zimbabwean dollar as an official currency was suspended in April 2009.
The banknote's value today is primarily as a collector's item.
