Vintage Polynesian wood purse

Vintage hand carved purse with perfect fit. Not sure how it’s carved but it is a piece of art. The string has been replaced at some point but is tied correctly to prevent things from falling out. Sometimes called a men’s dowry change purse. I saw one on a coffee table in the show Scandal.
