Carrigaline Pottery – A Legacy of Irish Craftsmanship! Founded in 1928 by Hodder Walworth Blacker Roberts in Carrigaline, County Cork, Carrigaline Pottery became a cornerstone of Irish ceramic production throughout the mid-20th century. Its products were often marked as Carrigaline Pottery or Carrig Ware, and the company gained early recognition for producing commemorative items for the 1932 Eucharistic Congress, a major religious event in Ireland. For decades, the pottery was the main source of employment in Carrigaline, contributing significantly to the local economy and cultural identity.
