Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core (SR2BX) Processor

This processor functions, but has an issue. The issue is that core #3 hits its thermal limits on very simple tasks. What this means is that the other three cores might be sitting at 30° C, while this core will be at or near 90° C. I bought this processor off of eBay and used it for about four months with the above caveat. The above caveat might cause the processor to feel slow because it is thermal throttling. I don't think the issue was my cooler, but it's always a possibility. I had ideas of delidding this CPU to see if that would help, but I never tried.
