A traditional Japanese Nanbu Tekki (Nambu cast iron) wind chime from the renowned maker Oigen Seieido (åęŗé³é ēę å ), a long-established foundry in Iwate, Japan, specializing in high-quality southern ironware.
⢠Design: intricate openwork ring with a detailed tropical fish at the top, and a cast iron fish shaped bell below. Dark green/bronze patina with a rustic, antique feel.
⢠Sound: Nanbu iron wind chimes are famous for their clear, resonant, long-lasting tone (a high, lingering āringā selected as one of Japanās ā100 Soundscapes to Preserveā), unlike the shorter chime of glass āfurinā chime.
