This is a vintage Imperial Glass Fifth Day of Christmas collector's plate. It is made of iridescent "carnival" glass, which gives it a shimmering, multi-colored appearance. The plate depicts the "Five Golden Rings" from the traditional Christmas carol, with the text "On the Fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Five Gold Rings" embossed around the rim. It measures approximately 9 inches across. The plate was part of a "Twelve Days of Christmas" series produced by Imperial Glass in the 1970s, with this specific plate dated 1974.
