It has softly structured shoulders with a bit of padding that is sewn under the lining. Made of thick and sturdy 100% cotton velvet with a luxurious matte finish - not your typical modern cheap mall brand velvet. Blazer has 2 functional front patch pockets and subtly darts in at the waist.
