Medical Bathtub Grab Bar Safety Rail

This is our Drive Medical bathtub safety rail & grab bar. It is ideal for those who have trouble climbing in and out of the bathtub on their own, but don't need full assistance from another person. It's very sturdy, easy to install, and helps prevent slips and falls in and out of the bathtub with easy entry and exiting. It is steel, and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. It features a clamp mounting system, with rubber pads to secure it to the side of a bathtub. The clamping mechanism only requires your hands, as it uses a plastic covered adjustment knob to tighten or loosen its clamping force. It can be used with the vast majority of bathtubs, but not on fibreglass tubs. The width can be changed from 3-7" for clearance on bathtub sides. It was originally $100 new, and was only used a handful of times.
