Vintage Elmo F-80 8mm Film Projector w/ Hard Case

Up for sale is a vintage Elmo F-80 8mm silent film projector made in Japan by Nagoya Elmo Co. This is a solid late-1950s machine that comes complete with its original hard-shell carrying case. Key details: • Model: Elmo F-80 • Film format: Standard 8mm (silent) • Lens: F.C. 1:1.4 f=20mm • Power: 115V 25/60 c/s, max lamp 750W • CSA approved • Distributed and guaranteed by Arrow Photographic Equipment Ltd., Toronto • Original gray hammertone finish with chrome accents • Includes the original hard case with red interior lining and latch This projector has a nice presence and looks very complete. All major controls (focusing, framing, speed/power switches) appear present and intact. The case shows typical age wear but remains solid and functional. Condition: Good overall vintage condition. Cosmetically it shows normal surface marks, light scuffs, and dust consistent with age and storage. Mechanically untested by me — sold as-is. I have not run film through it or verified the lamp/motor, so please factor that into your expectations. Ideal for collectors, display, or someone looking to restore/service a classic Elmo. These mid-century Japanese 8mm projectors are becoming harder to find complete with the original case, especially the Canadian-distributed examples with the Arrow Photographic Toronto plate. What you get: • Elmo F-80 projector • Original hard-shell carrying case Please look carefully at all photos — they form part of the description. Feel free to ask any questions before buying. Happy to provide additional photos if needed. Thanks for looking!
