Small Decorative Buddhist Statute

This appears to be a hand-carved Thai Buddhist statue depicting a Thepanom figure kneeling in prayer. The figure is known as a Thepanom (Thai) or Aparasa (Sanskrit), a celestial being or angel in Buddhist tradition. It is in a kneeling posture with hands pressed together in a wai (prayer/greeting) gesture. The statue has a reddish-brown color. Not sure what it is made from. It features intricate detailing on the headdress, clothing, and base. I see signs of possible restoration so clearly a vintage item. Seven inches high.
