Large Hand-Carved African-Style Wooden Mask

Large hand-carved wooden decorative mask inspired by traditional West African art, particularly the geometric and “primitive” visual language associated with the Bamana (Bambara) and Dogon peoples of Mali. Carved from a single solid piece of wood, featuring bold linear patterns, elongated facial proportions, and strong sculptural presence. This is a contemporary African-style mask created as decorative art rather than a ceremonial ethnographic object. The surface shows intentional texturing, age-style patina, and natural wood variation. Fully hollowed on the reverse and fitted for wall display.
