Vintage West African Wooden Mask with Metal Inlay 23” tall

Vintage hand-carved wooden mask originating from West Africa, most likely Mali or the surrounding region. This striking elongated mask features traditional abstract facial elements and rare hand-applied metal inlays with symbolic stamped patterns. The mask is carved from a single piece of wood and shows clear signs of age, use, and craftsmanship, including natural patina and hand-finished details. The metal elements are individually shaped and fixed, adding both visual impact and cultural significance. Such masks were traditionally used in collector interiors, ethnographic collections, or statement wall display.
