Attention collectors! Extremely beautiful, very rare, and highly sought-after 2011 Gibson L-200 Emmylou Harris signature model limited edition (one of 50). Out of production and no longer available. Handmade and bought directly from the Gibson shop at Bozeman, Montana. EXCELLENT condition, rarely played (case queen), with very minor finish checking in a couple of spots and a near invisible ding. Kept in a humidity controlled case. Professionally set up with low action and easy to play. 100% stock. SJ-200 appointments in a body 2/3s the size. 4 lbs 5 oz Top grade AAA solid Sitka spruce with attractive silking. Traditional double ring rosettes. Hand scalloped X-radius top bracing. Hand sprayed nitro cellulose lacquer. Highly flamed AAA curly Maple back, neck, and sides. 24 3/4" scale. Rosewood fretboard with 8 graduated mother-of-pearl crown inlays. Nibbed frets, usually only found on Gibson's most expensive guitars. Neck is a two piece flamed maple with walnut stringer. Binding for front of body is 6 ply, back 4 ply. Headstock with Gibson logo and crest in mother-of-pearl. Moustache shaped solid Indian Rosewood bridge with two pearl ribbon inlays and an aged bone saddle. J-200 style pickguard. Hand engraved and hand painted creme floral design with 10 mother-of-pearl dots. Gold vintage style Gotoh tuners with pearloid buttons. 15:1 ratio for precision tuning. Original pick up, powered by 9 volt battery. Volume and mix located discretely inside sound hole. 1/8ths jack built-in. Comes with original hardcase made from multiple layers of arched wood covered with pebbled grain black tolex. Leather pull tab accessories pocket, 5 heavy-duty brass latches and 7 brass feet. Plays and sounds fantastic, producing a focused and rich tone with plenty of woody projection. Selling because I have other guitars and could use the space. Only serious buyers please.
