Rare Class Portrait P.S. 76 The Bronx (1958)

I am offering for sale this complete, original class portrait from Public School No. 76, The Bronx, Graduating Class of 1958. This is a fascinating artifact of 1950s New York life. Unique Features: • Genuine Autographs: The back of the portrait is covered with the students' handwritten signatures. Legible names on the back include: Freddy David, Michael Messner, Barry Miller, and many more. • Historical Context: The portrait depicts the class and Principal John A. Murphy at a key moment in New York City's history. • Rarity: Elementary school (P.S.) memorabilia of this age and in this format is typically harder to find than high school yearbooks. • Image Details: Portraits of over 100 students, each with their name printed. Produced by Chester Studios, Bronx, NY Item Condition: • The main photo and portraits are in very good vintage condition for being almost 70 years old. The contrast is sharp. • The back, where the signatures are located, is well preserved, and the inks are legible. • The original period wooden frame is included, which may show minor wear consistent with its age (see photos). IMPORTANT BUYER INFORMATION: One of the signed names, "Barry Miller," matches the name of a famous actor. However, actor Barry Miller was born in Los Angeles in 1958, while the boy in this photo appears to be 12 or 13 years old. Therefore, this item is being sold as a local historical souvenir, not a celebrity autograph.
