100+ Year Old Parlor Guitar - Project

Condition & Description Condition: Fair Description 100+ Year Old Parlor Guitar – No Maker’s Mark – Late 1800’s – Early 1900’s - Made in U.S.A. / Canada – Project Guitar Here we have a beautiful all-mahogany parlor guitar which is 100+ years old. The guitar is well made using good quality mahogany wood and is now in need of some loving restoration to bring it back to life. The body dimensions are 445mm long, 335mm wide (upper bout width is 230mm), 85mm deep. The rosewood fretboard has 18 frets and joins the body at the 12.5 fret position. The mahogany neck has a comfortable C profile with a slight ridge down the middle (from the neck volute).. The bridge is solid and is engineered well. Brass saddle likely added sometime later in its history. The nut is hand crafted from a piece of mahogany and still appears to be in excellent condition. A brass over nut was in use when I got the guitar and will be included. The bridge pins and end pin are hand crafted out of wood with a small mother of pearl dot inlay. One pin is missing and a had made replacement is included. If shipping is required it will be $115 within North America – If the actual shipping is less a refund will be issued for the difference. For US shipments there will be an additional tariff charge of $26.09. I have found a small hard shell case in good condition for this guitar.
